Aromatherapy massage is a technique enabling a confident therapist the ability to offer a wide range of essential oils to complement the body massage.
Conditions such as headaches, muscular aches & pains, stress related illnesses, PMT, skin conditions etc can be successfully eased using this ancient technique of blending massage with powerful, essential oils.
Students will investigate some 38 different, essential oils learning about their magical properties, how to safely, effectively and confidently prescribe a blend of oils for the healing process of their client.
On completion of this course, students will be able to perform the full body aromatherapy massage, introducing a blend of essential oils with manual lymphatic drainage skills. The student will, also, learn how to use essential oils in other ways other than massage such as holiday emergency kits, first aid in the home, inhalation for colds and flu etc.
Useful information will be gained on running your own business as mobile therapist or working in clinics and salons etc.
This course is essential for the complementary therapist wishing to add to their profile. Further courses available: reflexology, Indian head massage and infant massage etc.
Students will be required to wear suitable clothing and to purchase their own selection of oils, all available from the school. Please contact the office for further details.
An F.H.T qualification will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the theory and practical exam and prove their ability through the submission of 20 case studies. This qualification will enable a therapist to fully insure him or herself.
