One of the oldest complementary therapies known to man, students will confidently be able to carry out a full body massage and learn techniques to enable a client to gain the benefits of a deep tissue massage providing relaxation, stress and pain relief.
This course covers all the relevant aspects of human anatomy and physiology and a massage routine for the whole body. By the end of the course the student will be able to perform and put together all these techniques and carry out a full body massage.
Useful information will be gained on running your own business as mobile therapist or working in clinics and salons etc.
This course is essential for the complementary therapist wishing to start their profile and will provide an opportunity to add reflexology, aromatherapy, Indian head massage and infant massage etc. in the future.
Students will be required to wear suitable clothing, which is available to purchase from the school. Recommended reading is also available, please contact the school for further details.
An F.H.T qualification will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the theory and practical exam and prove their ability through the submission of 20 case studies. This qualification will enable a therapist to fully insure him or herself.
