This course offers the first step into the world of beauty treatments, laying a foundation for students wishing to progress further with beauty training.
On completion of this course students will be able to safely perform a manicure and pedicure, assess the condition of the hand, foot and nails, be aware of any diseases of the skin and nails. A student will, also, learn how to enhance the appearance of the hands and feet.
After successful completion of the course a student will have practised the art of applying polish, explored ideas for setting up a new business or enhancing an existing business.
This course is essential for any student wishing to complete the whole of level 1 & 2 beauty therapy. Further courses available to enhance a student’s portfolio, at this level, are: waxing, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, eyelash perming, eyelash extensions, make-up techniques etc.
Price includes student manicure/pedicure kit.
An F.H.T qualification will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the theory and practical exam and submission of 10 case studies. This qualification will enable a therapist to fully insure him or herself.
